The Arizona Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) is a federally mandated organization established under Title VII, Section 705 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.  The council assesses and advocates for independent living programs and services for Arizonans with disabilities so that they may live and participate in an integrated community. http://www.azsilc.org/

The Arizona Division of Emergency Management prepares the citizens of Arizona for emergencies, protecting their lives and property. The agency also coordinates the state's emergency preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery efforts when a disaster strikes. http://www.dem.azdema.gov

The Arizona Department of Health Services promotes and protects the health of Arizona's children and adults. Its mission is to set the standard for personal and community health through direct care, science, public policy and leadership. The Department operates programs in behavioral health, disease prevention and control, health promotion, community public health, environmental health, maternal and child health, emergency preparedness and regulation of childcare and assisted living centers, nursing homes, hospitals other health care providers and emergency services. http://www.azdhs.gov
